The struggle to put this project together has been great. I hope that means the results will be equally great. but I guess that’s not for me to decide or know. All I really know is I have to do the thing that I can’t not do with great PASSION and let God have the results. The songs I Ain’t Goin Anywhere, Where Did You Hide Your Love, and Make Me A Better Man define me as an individual and are a blue print for the specific ministry I will build in the years to come. I searched my heart and soul for direction. It seemed I had no passion. I prayed earnestly and God showed me My Life. And there I found “ My Passion” in the years of struggle to be a good man, to love and support my wife, to give and receive from her as unto God. This project is a reflection of both good and bad times, and how God will carry you through.

My youngest son and I wrote Wings of Angels together. I couldn’t help but think how different my prayer life would be if my son were in Iraq. And how great a sacrifice it is to send your son, very much like the sacrifice of our God.

I met a man who described his salvation in an interesting way. He said, “The Air Tastes Better”. Some things just have to be written. One morning I sat down with my guitar and the Lord. I knew I needed to repent of the sin that seems to never go away. You can’t help but wonder if God is tired of hearing about it. I just said Lord it’s me again and It’s All Up To You. And like always He shines His light on you and All your Shadows Are Gone.

In February 2009 my wife and I went to Haiti on a mission trip. Three days before the earthquake we ordered plane tickets. we went in great fear but with a need to go. As we saw the destruction and people that had very little to start with, I learned about happiness, Those who had Jesus had HAPPINESS IN HAITI. A few years ago I was introduced to the trucker ministry. After lots of calls from trucker who received my music I developed a great respect for these individual. it takes a special person to be a trucker and especially a Christian trucker. Take Me To A Better Place is for the truckers.

We are all going through this life like a Wayfaring Stranger, I pray that like those who have gone before, you too will follow Christ over to home.
